Donald Sa-Il Kim has over 30 years of experience in real estate, as well as commercial transactional law, including the acquisition, development, construction, financing, leasing and sale of commercial, industrial and residential real estate, and the acquisition and disposition of privately held businesses.
Donald’s experience is broad-based, having been a prosecutor and an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County of New York (Brooklyn, New York) after graduating from law school, to being appointed outside counsel to privately-held investment concerns including commercial manufacturing, real estate and finance companies.
As a prosecutor, Donald conducted many jury trials to verdict and then as a private practitioner, Donald has represented both institutional and private clients in a wide variety of commercial, real estate and financing transactions. Donald’s commercial, real estate and financing practice is national in scope and he has been involved in complex commercial and loan transactions with multiple lenders and real estate collateral located in a variety of jurisdictions.
Donald is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law (JD: Class of 1989) and Tufts University (BA in International Relations: Class of 1986).
Donald was admitted to the NY bar in January of 1990 and he is also a member of the NJ bar.
